Pique Rib Stitch

Very cute and easy stitch to knit.
Nice and easy stitch for beginners.

Pattern:

Cast on a multiple 3 + 2.

• Row 1 (RS): *k2, p1*, last 2 sts, k2
• Carr. 2 (WS): *p2, k1*, last 2 sts, p2
• Carr. 3: *k2, p1*, last 2 sts, k2
• Carr. 4: knit all stitches

Circular knitting:

On circular knitting, cast on multiple of 3.

• Row 1 (RS): *k2, p1*
• Carr. 2 (WS): repeat row 1
• Carr. 3: repeat row 1
• Carr. 4: purl all stitches
